TheKatiwoda family has been asking to see Lake Michigan for many weeks, so we decided Labor Day was a time to do that....a gtood decision because all of them had time off, but a bad decision because so did everyone else in western Michigan! But, we ploughed through, and at least they got to see the lake and a family who have been their friends for year and actually came to Michigan with them. That family settled in Grand Haven so we stopped to see them too. Here are a couple pictures from the day.

I guess we all know where we learned the kindness to others and understanding for people who are different or in need of something. You two are showing an example right here.
