Dad's vacatiion/new bathroom
After 2 weeks of work and disruption, the bathroom is finally done. However, I think the video must have been on the wrong speed because it looks like a videographer of speed! Oh well, I'm only learning. >>>>Actually, I'll try the video tomorrow because it was downloading a ton of stuff, which I think had to do with the speed of the video....Anyway, I'll try again tomorrow.
I have included some pictures of my 6 days with Karl in Wisc. First a couple pictures of Lake Delton which disappeared in less that 3 hours this spring . You can imagine how thrilled the resorts on the lake were with boats and no water. The next pictures are of an eagle eating a fish he took out of the lake. Karl and I were on the deck and I was kind of hopeful of getting a picture of an eagle and lo and behold oned appeared. Karl told me he had called eagle central and ordered an eagle to get a fish and eat it out front. Also took a picture of the nest 3 doors down from Karl's.

I hope this will be an entry about Matt Potts' wedding, including photo and videos. As I've already told most of you, the wedding was very nice....in Kalamazoo at St. Luke's where Colette's family attends...relaxed, social affair...reception in church hall catered by Zingers in Ann Arbor that provided a tapas style of food (Ivery filling and tasty, however). Now they are at Boston University residing as "dorm parents" which is Colette's job based on her masters degree in some kind of education area. Matt now begins his doctorate in something...an English or lit area, I think.

First blog experience
Hi anyone who's reading this. OD and I have just created this blog to keep up with technology(!!) and keep up with many of you...that would be mostly family, I believe. Anyway, wasn't too hard to create this blog, now let me try for a picture from California.
Hey, it worked!
This is our attempt to introduce Josie to the Guatemalan "perraje" system of carrying on mom's back...but it didn't work. Guess it has something to do with generations of practice and use.
